Inspiration

A lot of people have a hard time finding inspiration in life; some people find it a little too easy. My problem is that I find it, but I can’t keep it. For example, I was inspired by my critical thinking class last semester. I was learning to see the world in ways I had never considered before. I was so overwhelmed by my discoveries; I wanted to tell the world. I have a lot of insecurities sharing my thoughts with others so I needed to find a way to express myself without having to explain myself. Making this site has been my light in the dark.

I’m always thinking about what I want to share with you the next time we meet. I am so entertained with the world around me. I open my eye’s to see new colors. Each day I begin a new draft based on something I have discovered, but as day turns to night, they sit in the folder, unfinished. The old part of me wants to be anxious. It screams at me “something is better than nothing,” and I fight so hard not to give in and force it along. But you shouldn't put a time frame on creativity. Inspiration needs to flow, not be controlled.

That being said, I apologize if you do not hear from me as often this month. I am doing a lot of research and writing as I go. But don't worry, I won't forget about you. :)
